Rental Policies

Policies :

**Rates and availability are subject to change without prior notice until 50% deposit is received. Your reservation will not be held until deposit is confirmed.**

Deposit Policy :: A fifty percent (50%) deposit of the total reservation amount including taxes and surcharges (if any) is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due no less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy:  A full refund of deposit (minus $50 cancellation fee) will be given if cancellation of confirmed reservation is received more than forty-five (45) days prior to arrival date.  If notice is given less than forty-five (45) days prior to arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Holiday Policy - Ninety (90) days notice is required for any deposit refunds during holiday periods.  A cancellation fee may still apply. 

Check in time is after 3pm.
Please notify us in advance if you need an early check-in. We will do our best to accommodate such requests.
 

Check out time is before 11 am on the date of departure.
Late check out may be available upon advance request and approval.  Late departure without advance notice and approval will be charged a $50 late check-out fee.

Maui Beach House Property Rules :

  1. This is a non-smoking PROPERTY for the comfort of all guests.  This unit does not allow animals.  Illegal activities of any type will not be tolerated.  Violation of these policies may result in revocation of privilege to stay at property and forfeiture of all payments made.
  2. The outdoor spa is to be used at your own risk.  Please check with your Physician before using the spa if you have any concerns.  Unsupervised children of any age will not be allowed in the spa for safety reasons.  Please shower before using and contact us of you need help using the spa features.
  3. Please use the outdoor showerhead, located near the spa, for rinsing off sand prior to entering spa, entering your unit, and for rinsing beach equipment.
  4. Children should be supervised at all times while on the property.  The property may have unknown hazards for unsupervised children and has not been “child-proofed”.
  5. Property owners are not responsible for harm to guests or their personal belongings while on the property.  Paying guests, children of guests, and invitees of guests expressly assume all risk of harm arising from use of the property and are responsible for the safekeeping of their valuables.  Please immediately report any hazards or safety concerns by calling the telephone number above.  Call 911 in case of an emergency.
  6. Please keep all doors and windows locked. Please do not leave valuables in your unit!
  7. For your safety, do not reverse your vehicle out of the driveway!  Always exit in a forward manner.
  8. All outdoor areas, including, but not limited to the spa, are subject to video surveillance at any time and without prior notice.
  9. A fire extinguisher and flashlight are located in the bathroom cabinet under the sink.
  10. Non-paying guests “visitors” are not allowed to use the facilities or stay the night in the unit.  Extensive use of the property by visitors may result in an additional persons charge.  Please limit traffic of all visitors for the comfort of all paying guests.
  11. A one-time bedroom and bathroom linen and towel setup is included in the complimentary check-in cleaning service.  Any additional touch-up cleanings and linen service may be done at property owners’ discretion.
  12. Daily maid service is not included in the rate, but may be available at an additional charge with advance notice.  Please remove shoes before entering the unit to maintain cleanliness.
  13. Beach towels may be available for your use at a quantity of two per room per stay.  Please do not use the bathroom towels or any other linen or furniture item outside of the unit.
  14. Please limit noise and traffic between the hours of 9pm and 8am.
  15. To help keep your unit clean and free of pests, please dispose of excessive rubbish regularly. Large brown trash bin in located at rear of property, down the driveway and on your left.
  16. Please help us conserve Maui’s precious resources by turning off all lights, ceiling fans and appliances when not in use.
