Q: How can I make a reservation or find out rates and availability?

Q: How can I find out about any special rates you are offering?
A: We update our rates and specials regularly on our Website. When you enter your dates on our Website, any available specials for your dates will be listed. Sometimes changing the dates or length of stay will result in specials being listed. Please be sure to select dates for specials to display.
Q: Are all of the vacation rental units located on the same property?
A: Yes, all units (except Royal Kahana condo) are located on the same property. The condo is located within 1 mile of the other units. Please look at our Location Page and location maps.
Q: Are there any additional fees?
A: At our properties, there are no hidden and additional fees! Our Wi-Fi, parking and other included amenities are FREE! When you reserve a room online, it will show the room rate as well as the total rate, including Hawaii taxes at 14.42% and departure cleaning fee(currently $150 plus tax).
Q: Are these all condominium units?
A: No, all units (except the Royal Kahana condo) are located on a beautiful new residential estate, overlooking the ocean between Kaanapali and Kapalua. These three bed and breakfast units are similar to hotel rooms, enjoy a mini kitchenette, barbecue area, and maintain a high level of privacy. The Royal Kahana condo is conveniently located right down the street.
Q: Will I have any privacy, or will the owners bother me?
A: These B&B units are setup to be very private, while allowing for the luxury and security of having the owner on-site in case you decide that you need something or have questions about Maui. Just give us a call, or send us an email or text if you need anything.
Q: Are your bed and breakfast rooms private, or do I have to share a bathroom?
A: All units have en suite bathrooms so that you do not have to leave your room to get to your private bathroom. If you feel like lounging in the large common area or outside, you are welcome to do so.
Q: Do we have to wait in long check-in and check-out lines?
A: No, we offer express check-in and check-out, so you can enjoy and relax! After making a reservation, please check your email from us for details. No hassle, no wait, no stress!
Q: Do your units have air conditioning?
Q: Do you have up-to-date in-room technology?
A: Yes, we have HD LED televisions with streaming media options and built-in Wi-Fi to access your favorite shows, movies, music using your online accounts.
Q: Can we bring our children?
A: Yes, we would love you to bring your children. Please be sure to include them in your reservation. Please be aware that children must be supervised at all times while on the property for their safety!
Q: Do you have a minimum stay?
A: Yes, we normally require a minimum stay of three nights. Please check with us for shorter stays, we may be able to accommodate you.
Q: Do you have free parking?
A: Yes, we have one free parking space assigned to your room during your stay at the Beach House. Free parking at Condo is unassigned.

Q: What Island are you on?
A: Our rental units are on the Island of Maui, Hawaii. We are on the West side of Maui, between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Please visit out location page to see some maps and information about our amazing location on the beach.
Q: What property is your Royal Kahana condo at?
A: It is at the Outrigger Royal Kahana on Kahana Beach, between Kaanapali and Kapalua, on the Island of Maui, Hawaii.
Q: Can I hear the ocean waves from the property?
A: Yes, you can hear the waves from the grounds at both properties. You can also hear them from the ocean view rooms at the B&B at most times. The condo is on the 4th floor, so the sounds of the ocean may be limited, although the condo is an oceanfront property.
Q: Where can I find reviews of your properties?
A: We have posted some of the reviews left for us here, although there are also some other available on various other websites.
Q: How can I view pictures and get more information about your individual vacation rental units?
A: When you enter your dates on our Website, pictures and detailed room information, including rates will be displayed for your review. Then you can click on "enlarge" to view the photo album for each unit.
Q: Are you solar powered?
A: Yes, our Maui Beach House estate is fully solar powered! We enjoy very hot water and more, powered from the sun. Please come enjoy our eco-friendly, green property.
Q: What are some nearby activities?
A: Please visit our location and activities page for more information. We can also assist you in finding specific activities, just contact us.
Q: Are there any hiking trails nearby?
A: Yes, there are several trails that can be accessed from the Kapalua Adventure Center, the scenic Kapalua Coastal Trail, and many others all within a few minutes from the property.
Q: Are there any good spas nearby?
A: Yes, we are located within minutes of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Kapalua, as well as the Hyatt, Marriott, and Westin in Kaanapali. These are just some of the nearby properties that offer spa facilities and treatments. We can also arrange for in-room massage.
Q: Is there anything to do at Lahaina Harbor?
A: Yes, we are around 8 miles from Lahaina Harbor, where you can catch a ferry to the neighbor Islands of Molokai or Lanai, catch a whale watching boat, dinner cruise, fishing boat, scuba tour, or any other boat activities.
Q: Are there any good golf courses nearby?
A: Yes, there are several outstanding world-class golf courses within minutes of the property. The Hyundai Championship golf tournament is held within a few miles of the property every January. There are also popular golf courses in the world-famous resort town Kaanapali.
Q: Is there a good place to snorkel nearby?
A: Yes, at the beach by both properties are wonderful reef areas for snorkeling, or any other beach activity, depending on surf conditions. Many more popular snorkeling spots like Honolua Bay and Napili Bay are located close nearby.

Q: Where are you located?
A: Please see the map on our location/activities page for more information about our convenient, peaceful, and incredible location in West Maui. The property is located between Kaanapali and Kapalua, about 8 miles north of Lahaina town (15 minute drive)
Q: Are you located near the beach?
A: Yes, our bed and breakfast units are on a small road at the ocean's edge, with no other obstructions across from the estate to block the amazing views. Just walk out of the property, walk a few steps across the local road, and you are at the beach between the famous areas of Kahana and Napili.
Our Royal Kahana condo is on Kahana Beach, right down the street from our Bed and Breakfast property.
Q: Where is the closest airport?
A: We are a few miles from Kapalua Airport (JHM), which is a smaller airport. You will need to catch a flight from Oahu or one of the neighbor Hawaiian Islands to arrive at this Maui airport, as there aren't any direct flights from the Mainland.
We are approximately 28 miles from the main Maui Airport, Kahului Airport (OGG).
Q: Where can I find your house rules?

Q: Can I smoke on the property?
A: No. Smoking (including electronic) is not allowed anywhere on the property (even outside the building or on lanais), in consideration of all guests.
Smoking is allowed by the street entrance at the bed and breakfast, and by the street entrance at the Royal Kahana condo. Please dispose of your "butts" appropriately wherever you smoke. Violation of these policies may result in revocation of privilege to stay at the property, forfeiture of all payments made, and imposition of penalties or fines for non-compliance and cleaning.
Q: Can I cook or heat items such as curry, garlic, onions or fish?
A: Yes, you may cook these items on the outdoor barbecues. Cooking items with strong odor and residue inside the units will result in fines and penalties being imposed to cover additional cleanings.
Q: Can I have a party for my friends?
A: No. Due to liability and in consideration for our neighbors, we cannot allow parties at our B&B, but we can help you find a suitable location for your get together.
For guests of our Molokai Suite condo, we may be able to rent an area at the Royal Kahana where you can have a party as allowed by the house rules.
Q: Can we have a wedding at your property?
A: Yes, we have a beautiful grassy area overlooking the ocean at the Royal Kahana specifically designated for such a special event! Please check with us in advance to confirm availability and cost.
Q: Can we take illegal drugs on the property?
A: No. Illegal activities of any kind are expressly prohibited on the properties, and will not be tolerated.
Q: Can we drink alcohol in the pool?
A: No. Due to liability, you may not consume alcohol in the pool at the condo. It is also not advised to partake in water activities while intoxicated.
Q: Is the beach sandy?
A: Yes, most beaches in the area between Kaanapali and Kapalua have sand, but always depend on variable tidal conditions. There is more sand at low tide and when there isn’t a high surf warning situation. Please watch for safety flags and know your limitations when swimming at beaches that do not have lifeguard services.
Q: Do I need to bring my own towels?
A: No, towels and sheets are provided in the set up. Additional towel and sheet services can be ordered on request.
Q: Do you offer bathroom amenities?
A: We supply free starter bathroom amenities for your convenience. We use local Hawaii products and companies when possible.
Q; Are your properties beaches affected by seasonal ocean current changes?
A: Yes, the Fall and Winter months usually cause sand to be taken away from the beaches, while the other seasons usually bring it back. Other tidal conditions also determine how much sand is available on our beaches at any given moment.
Q: Do you have an ironing board or hair dryer for use?
A: Yes, the condo has both in-room. At the B&B, they are available on request.
Q: Do you have other items available for use?
A: Yes, we have some items, like dishes, utensils, cups, etc... available upon request.
Q: Do you have a barbecue area for guest use?
A: Yes, the Royal Kahana condo has several gas barbecues and the B&B also has an outdoor gas BBQ and small bar seating area with granite countertop and gorgeous ocean views.
Q: Do you supply tea and coffee in the rooms?
A: Yes, at the B&B, we offer a starter supply of coffee and tea bags in the room for your convenience. Additional items may be purchased when available.
Q: Do you have a hot tub?
A: Our condo has an outdoor heated pool just steps from the ocean. We do not have hot tubs available for guest use.
Q: Do you have a telephone available for use?
A: Yes, we have telephones available with free calls to the U.S. and Canada (B&B). Free local calls at the Royal Kahana condo.
Q: Do you have cribs available in the units?
A: We don't have cribs in the units, but please let us know which items you need when you make your reservation, and we can help you arrange to rent them for your stay.
Q: Do you have wireless Internet available?
A: Yes, we offer FREE high speed wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) at our B&B and Royal Kahana condo. Just bring your laptop or mobile device and connect to the wireless network.
Q: Do you offer laundry facilities?
A: Yes, our condo has an in-room washer and dryer. For our bed and breakfast units, there is a 24-hour laundromat conveniently located in Lahaina town about 8 miles away.
Q: Do your B&B rooms include breakfast?
A: Yes, our B&B rooms include a complimentary continental breakfast basket. This service includes juice, pastry, and fresh fruit (from our garden when available).
Q: Do your units have kitchens?
A: Yes, our Royal Kahana condo has a full sized kitchen. Our bed and breakfast units enjoy a mini kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave and mini refrigerator. Both properties have barbecues as well.
Q: Are there any restaurants nearby?
A: Yes, there are MANY wonderful restaurants in the area including Roy's, Kimo's, Duke's, Maui Brewing Company, Pineapple Grill, Plantation House, Lahaina Grill, and countless others. There are also many take-out and delivery options. If you are looking for something in particular, please ask us.
Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, there is FREE assigned parking on site for one vehicle per room.
Q: Will I have to share a bathroom at your bed and breakfast?
A: No, our B&B rooms are set up to be very private and have bathrooms accessible from within the private rooms.
Q: I need air conditioning, which rooms have a/c?
A: Air conditioning is provided standard in the Royal Kahana Condo, as well as the B&B. In other units that may not have a/c, you have the option to purchase the use of a portable a/c for your bedroom area for a daily fee, subject to availability.
Q: Is this a typical B&B property where the owners constantly bother the guests?
A: No, we strive to provide a high level of privacy and comfort for our guests. We are a licensed B&B, but provide a more private, relaxed ambiance. At Maui Beach B&B, we strive to make it feel like you have the entire estate to yourselves.
